My first ever stuffed animal was a white teddy bear I adoringly named Berry. It came with me to the US, moved with us as we moved, and at some point ended up in the garage of our family home. I asked my mom about it a few years ago, hoping to bring it to my new home, turns out she donated it at some point along with my entire bag of stuffed animals from childhood. It was a bit devastating. This piece is about that - searching for the parts of yourself that others carelessly give away.
